What is required to obtain the Marque

How do we apply to be awarded the Marque

The Association works with those responsible for Sacred Sites - Cathedrals, Churches, Synagogues, Mosques, Temples and Gurdwaras - throughout the North West Region.

Its purpose is to encourage these sites to be OPEN and

1. To help the growth of understanding between the Faith Groups
2. To enrich the experience of holiday makers and tourists in an understanding of different spiritual perceptions and the role of Faith in a community's 'story'.marque

The Association is governed by five Trustees:

Monsignor John Devine (Chairman)
Mr Peter Rossiter
The Revd Daniel Burton
One vacancy.

The Trustees delegate the day to day running of the Association to a larger Management Group. This group is chaired by Malcolm Stonestreet who is also Chief Executive of The United Religions Initiative UK (see: www.uri.org.uk).

The Association has over one hundred members drawn from all the Faith Groups operating in the North West Region.
