The Marque for Excellence
The Marque for Excellence is awarded to sacred
spaces such as Mosques. Cathedrals, Temples, Synagogues, Gurdwaras
and Churches in the North West of England that reach the
Associations standard in welcoming visitors.
These places of worship share their cultural heritage and
collections with the community and visitors alike. They are
not only sacred to those who worship in them but are also buildings
which showcase a variety of stories about their communities.
