Welcome

The North West Multi Faith Tourism Association.

The North West has a rich and diverse religious heritage, a heritage that can be traced from pre-historic times to the present day via the vast network of sacred sites to be found in the region.

The aim of the North West Multi Faith Tourism Association is to raise awareness of, and to make this heritage available and accessible to as many people as possible through unlocking the tourism potential of Sacred Sites.

The Religious Heritage of the North West

To this end, we work with those who have the care of Churches, Mosques, Temples, Gurdwaras, Synagogues and other Faith Centres in the region by encouraging them to be open to visitors of all faiths and none, to offer a real welcome and hospitality and to present a lively interpretation of their building.

It is our aim to make a significant contribution to faith tourism through the creation of a network of Sacred Sites across the entire North West region.
