Aslam Atcha, President of the Mosque, receives the award from The Mayor of Bolton
Marque of Excellence awarded to Bolton's Zakariyya Mosque

On 7th July the Zakariyya Jaame Masjid was presented with the Marque of Excellence by The Worshipful the Mayor of Bolton, Councillor John Byrne. It is the first mosque ever to receive this award. Indeed it is the first mosque in the country to receive an award for its standard of visitor welcome and its contribution to the promotion of faith tourism.
